Haggai 2:19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
The seed of God’s word is perfect! Psalm 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The seed of God’s word is preserved. Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The seed of God’s word must be planted. 1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. This verse tells us also the seed of God’s word must be watered.
The seed of God’s word will get the job done! Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The seed of God’s word is precious.
Psalm 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Are you a seed sower? The seed that remains in the barn will never produce a harvest. Will you help plant it in the field? Will you help water it? Is this seed precious to you? Amen. Pastor
