1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. It was the beloved Apostle Paul who wrote this. On two different occasions, I have preached a message the Lord gave me from this passage. It was entitled… On the way to being a castaway. If Paul was concerned about being a castaway or being disapproved of God, don’t you reckon it would behoove us to do the same? There is a real enemy that we must first recognize, then resist! I am sending this devotion out to people I dearly love. It would absolutely break my heart to watch the enemy destroy the lives of anyone reading this devotion. We certainly do have an adversary! But… We have an ally that is much greater than the adversary! Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world! Look to Jesus, lean on Him, then just live for Him that died for you! It is possible to be disapproved, but with God’s help, we can be delivered from the enemy and stand with confidence before our King! Amen. Pastor
