Exodus 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. In the life of Moses, our Lord was able to get his attention through a burning bush. Moses certainly responded correctly when he said, “Here am I.” The dear Lord got Isaiah’s attention thru the death of King Uzziah. It resulted in the prophet saying, “Here am I, send me.” Then of course the God of Heaven got Jonah’s attention. Three days and nights in the belly of a whale changed his direction! On the road to Damascus our Heavenly Father got the attention of Saul of Tarsus. The Lord completely changed his life and gave him a ministry that will never be replicated. I must say that in my life, and possibly yours also, the Lord Jesus has used different events to get our attention along life’s journey. Just remember please, those things that God allows to get our attention are never to destroy us, but rather to develop us. I’m sure there were moments when Job thought why? What have I done? It would have been better that I never was born. In the end, God blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning!
If need be, God will get our attention! He loves His children way too much to leave them to themselves! Amen. Pastor
