Hebrews 13:4  Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
This scripture,  like so many, is a stark warning!
God’s plan for marriage is one man with one woman for one lifetime!  There are many reasons it does not always work out God’s way.  The woman is instructed to submit to her husband.  The husband is instructed to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it!  There is a part of romance intended for courtship, another part of romance should be reserved for marriage.   This is God’s plan.  When followed, it creates a union that resembles the union between Christ and His church.  Our society has made it acceptable to live together outside of marriage.   It is not acceptable to the Lord!
Our Lord will judge disobedience.   Disobedience is the reason so many marriages end in divorce.
If you, like so many, have messed up in this area of romance, I have good news!  God is merciful!  David messed up royally!
Pardon the pun!  Read Psalm 51 and you will find King David no longer covering his sin, but rather confessing it!  With God’s help, you can walk down the marriage isle pure.  We can do nothing without Him. With Him all things are possible to him that believeth!  May God help us to seek His will in marriage.   It’s important.
