Ephesians 2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.  This scripture is referring to the grace of God in that He included Gentiles in His household!  No longer strangers from the covenant of promise, but fellowcitizens!  Praise God!
There are some things that are needed in our earthly household that are also needed in our Heavenly household.   First we need to GATHER!  There’s nothing like a good family gathering.  Not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together!  In some families that gathering is dreaded because of strife and division.  That brings me to the next thing that is needed for a good family gathering.   We need to gather with GRACE!
Colossians 4:6  Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
This is especially necessary in both kinds of family gatherings!
Gather together,  gather with grace, and please don’t forget to gather with GLADNESS!  We never know when we gather when that might be the last time we gather together on earth.  The Psalmist said… I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
I say AMEN!  There’s nothing like my earthly family.  God has so blessed my wife and me.  But… even greater is my church family.   A family that gathers, exhibits grace, and is glad to do so!  Praise the Lord! Amen.  Pastor
