Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.   Our verse informs us that there are few that find the straight and narrow way that leads to life eternal.   How can this be?  Churches everywhere,  internet broadcasts, radio broadcasting, 
and social media platforms, are all being used to give the Gospel.   I’m well aware these same avenues are not always presenting the truth, however many are.  There are two things on my heart as to why only a few make the narrow way.  First, many are seeking a more CONVIENET WAY.  They believe they can go to Heaven their own way.  All steeples point up and all religions point to God.  Hogwash!  Jesus declares plainly… “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”  He alone is the door to Heaven!  Some believe they can have a little of the Savior and hang on to a lot of their sin.  This is not the narrow way taught in scripture.   It may be convenient,  but it will end in destruction.  Jesus said… ” Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”  You and I would be wise to listen to Jesus.
Some are looking for a more convenient way, still others are waiting for a more CONVIENET TIME!  Consider please… Acts 24:25  And as he (Paul) reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.  We don’t have the record of Felix’s fate.  But we do have the record of God’s word.  Boast not thyself of tomorrow…
Now is the accepted time!  Many will miss the narrow way, not because they don’t know the truth, but rather because they procrastinate till it’s too late.   The devil doesn’t tell people not to be saved, he whispers… not now, you’ve got plenty of time.   Remember this, he’s a liar!  Looking for a more convienent way or waiting on a more convienent time is dangerous.   Today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart.  Amen.  Pastor
